Septic System Design
New Septic System Design Steps
A soil evaluation must first be performed on your lot to determine your septic system options. This evaluation will help us narrow down size, type, and possible locations of systems. If you do not already have a soil evaluation we can help coordinate with a Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS).
Once the soils are done, a septic design can be completed based on those soils. This step involves us traveling out to your site to evaluate your soils report and possible septic options. We will stake out the septic location on your plot of land and will work with you to choose the option of septic best for you. We will go over tentative cost estimations and pros/cons. Our turnaround time is one week; so one week from our onsite consultation, you will have your design plans in hand to submit to the local health department.
After the plans are complete, you will need to submit them to your local health department for review. I guarantee all of my plans to be approved by the local health department. This means if the health department has any issues with the design, we will make any revisions free of charge to meet their specific requirements. Don’t want to handle the permitting process? We are also able to submit and follow up with local health departments and take that burden off of you.
